Our Challenge:

NBS Procurement must find new and more meaningful ways to connect NBS buyers with diverse suppliers. We must seize every opportunity to provide meaningful information about what and how we purchase goods and services to our diverse suppliers so they can better understand our procurement strategies and how they can support our efforts.

The Solution:

Our NBS colleagues participated in the National Minority Supplier Development Council’s Annual Trade Show in New Orleans which was the largest Supplier Diversity conference in the country- without leaving the office. With the assistance of a team spearheaded by the Baker Group (a MWBE company) and supported by AGF Media Services our buyers were able to connect with many of the minority, women and small businesses owners attending the trade show. We have captured the data they shared and the questions they received in a series of Videos.
